Cyclists / Mountain Bikers; the perfect base for a vast variety of casual biking to extreme madness routes. The area hosts the only closed road event in the Uk, the Etape Caledonia over May 14th/15th 2010 and we are also on the Lochs & Glens Cycle Route 7 (Panel 5). Horse + Riders welcome; Come and stay with your horse or pony, as we have a secure fenced paddock just behind The Bunkhouse which has a burn running through it for water and your only 30 meters away as well. Ample parking and turning space for horsebox`s as well. (See Special Offers in red above).

Whisky; We overlook Dewars down in Aberfeldy on the other side of the glen, while there is also the Blair Athol Distillery that helps in the production of Bells over in Pitlochry as well as the smallest Scottish distillery of Edradour. Then in the other direction towards Crieff we have Glenturret, which is the spiritual home of The Famous Grouse blend. (See; Places of interest, in Local Links section). The Ailean Chraggan is the local hotel / restaurant which has a great selection of malts, generally around 100 as a rule.
Stag / Hen and Group Weekends; The perfect private party centre, you won`t disturb the neighbours as they are 1 mile away.
